There has been quite a bit of interest with lots of phone calls and over 7,000 views of the build thread since posting it for sale. I will likely leave it in Rats Nest trim until the SuperCar reunion is over. After that, it's going back to stock form. So if you are interested as is, now is the time to get it done. I'm open to offers.

Jim

Bump with new price - $205,000. To sweeten the deal a little, this price also now includes a restored, dated smog pump system and a full concours quality Gardner exhaust system with resonators that are correct for a late build car.

Car will be a SCR26 in a couple of weeks (still in Rats Nest form) if you want to see in person.

I know a lot of you like the race appearance, but I think the stock trim is just beautiful!!! Best of both worlds with this car.

TTT
This weekend I am taking the car to a photo shoot for a potential magazine feature article. Once that is done, the conversion back to stock will begin, starting with engine and exhaust - going to leave the wrap and slicks on as long as possible!
Below is a link to a Shutterfly book I created that documents the process and history from the purchase day to just a few weeks ago. Please forgive the few spelling errors and a couple of fuzzy pics. A copy of this book will go to the new owner.

Instructions
click the link
click on the image of the book
hit the "full screen" in the upper right of the window for best viewing
Enjoy!

I enjoyed following along on your restoration thread here. That Shutterfly book is really neat and will be cool for the new owner to have. Well done!

Wow, Jim, like everything else you have done with this car, the book is such a cool chronology of, not just your time with it, but as many of the past people involved as you could find. All the restoration pics are a great documentation of the process and your quest to make it as original as possible. What an excellent piece of history for the next owner.

It seems like a shame to change it back, but I understand the reason. I'm interested in seeing how difficult it is to remove the wrap.
