1970 Chevelle SS396 L78 (1 of 2144)
Selling this for a friend. This car was at the NOCC show in Strongsville, OH.
There will be more info and pictures to come on this, but right now there is only the one picture for a tease. 1970 Chevelle SS396 L78, M21 4-speed. Fathom Blue, White bench seat interior, factory color combination. Documented with 1 buildsheet, and has it's born-with, standard bore, engine and trans. It has the original iron heads put aside, while a pair of 842 aluminum heads are running on it now. Correct original dated distributor 1111200, 4557 Holley, smog etc. 100 miles since restoration. In the L78 Registry under the Kansas City cars 1272xx http://l78registry.macswebs.com/1970/1970.htm $72,900 |

Nice Car your buddy has Rick,
He needs to put that rubber seal the other way around as it is upside down. Also no Big Block SS's from 70 came with those spark plug manifold shields. Both are an easy fix anyways GLWS

The best color combo on a 70 Chevelle SS IMO!
Sounds like an awesome car.

Re: 1970 Chevelle SS396 L78 (1 of 2144)
I added a little more info in the original posting.
M21, white bench seat, engine is standard bore with original pistons. Car originally came without tach and gauges, but tach and gauges were added during the resto. The original gauge pod goes with the car. The owner is going to take more pictures this weekend, so I'll add those here when they arrive. Also, this car is in the L78 Registry. Kansas City car 1272xx on the list http://l78registry.macswebs.com/1970/1970.htm |

Few more.
Last one is of the engine stamp, but is too small to see. Guaranteed to be the original engine, trans and rear end. |
