Default Latex weatherstrips for 1969 Camaro

Latex weatherstrips have been on the market for a while now & I was wondering if there's some opinions out there. Is there only one manufactures? HBC offers them. Thoughts please. Thank you, Joe

Joe,

I have used the roofrails and have been happy. Good fit and very soft. I had a friend that could not close the doors on his 67 with other reproduction and then installed the latex and was very pleased. I don't know how long they will last as compared to other repros or originals.

And BTW my 69 with power windows does not have an "A" on the trim tag.

Gregg

I am trying to jog my memory. I am sure I had a set from camaro specialties and a set from HBC. I am pretty sure my HBC were in an OER box. One set I had trouble installing, I think the camaro specialties set, and got a set from HBC. That is the set on the car now and you have to stretch them alot to install and the end toward the door handle pulled off. They looked to be added later to the gasket part. Kind of fragile.

I know the OER door w/s had an issue with spacing on the push tabs but I believe they retooled them and fixed it.
