'67 Camaro RS/SS 396/4-sp Convertible
Supposed to be a #s car but I'd want to look it over closely (obviously). Anyone know this car? Pretty car, but it makes me question the restoration quality when the GM parts tag is still there on the alternator bracket...weird.

GM decal is strange, yes. I guess it beats a Made in China sticker?

I believe 06b is to late to be a real pace car. Of course the whole cowl tag has to be obscured in the pic by the wiring harness.

He doesn't say it is a Pace Car so assume it isn't.

I looked at this car. This is not a real pace car. I’m no expert but it probably came from the factory with the black nose stripe because it does not have the - on the trim tag for special color nose stripe. Never the less it is a very rare car that with a few corrections would be very nice. The gentleman is very nice and did a nice build with mainly NOS parts. I looked at the motor stamping and it looks legit. The trim tag and Protec o plate look good. It runs and drives very nice. I did not jack the car up but he said it is all born with tranny and rear ended. The car sits great because those are original springs. You can’t buy that stance. I have pics of the motor stamp and tag but I’m not posting them. Just my two cents.
