Default '68 Corvette, #s 427/390hp Original Paint Convertible

In Corvette Bronze, no less. Sweet car and looks to be in well preserved condition, including the paint. Needs some cosmetics on the interior, and for God's sake, the "Linglong" tires, really? But overall, a few weekends' worth of work would do wonders.

----Not sure but don't think anyone has reproduced 68 door panels. That color will be hard to find (good used). The only choice might be to dye a decent black one. On the other hand seat covers are around.....Bill S

----Just checked Al Knochs website and he does have 68's but not in that color. Maybe a possibility that he could be persuaded!

Bill, I had a Gunmetal interior ‘68 and the factory dyed the Gunmetal color on black panels due to low demand.

Love the car and the color. Not sure where the seller gets the 1 of 3 cars. Corvette Bronze was the 4th most popular color in 68.

Door panels will be tough, but we got seat covers for my son's car and they were nice.

Very tempting...

----Was looking at the pics again and noticed that the rubber gasket under the antenna is painted. That area, if not more is not original paint as the gasket would never be painted.....Bill S

Wow, less than 2 hours left and only at 24k.
I was ready to start bidding until I saw it was an automatic...
