Painting Headers
I recall in the past there was discussion here on how to repaint or change color of headers. I have a new set of Hookers (never installed) that are now factory black and I want to repaint them "old school" white. Can the experts here steer me in the right direction as to the procedure to strip the old paint and reapply the white and heat treat before installation? Thanks in advance -- TAZ

Re: Painting Headers
I'll never forget back in the day I painted the headers white on my Z. I fired it up and within a minute all the white paint was coming off and swirling around like snow! It was crazy!! Live and learn...

Re: Painting Headers
I had mine done by company in California heat treated and can be done in colors.
