Default 1970 LS5 4-speed Chevelle

For Sale; Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454, Cranberry Red, black bench seat interior. 1970 Chevelle SS 454. This car does not have the original motor or trans but has original CRV 3.31 posi rear. Currently has a 1973 454 and Muncie 660 case 4-speed installed. The car was repainted many years ago and the jambs appear to be original paint. I would call it a 10 footer.

It has all original body panels, original glass, drivers mirror, original interior, and original brakes drums, rotors, calipers, front and rear sway bars, springs bumpers, flat tail light lenses, original t-3 headlights. Etc. Interior is original and in fair condition. I would suggest replacing it. There are miscellaneous nicks and scratches in the car.

There had been some work done on the quarters and a little in the trunk and the car is very solid otherwise. The floor are remarkably very solid and original as is the frame. Some of the weld seams are starting to show signs of expansion but otherwise in very nice original shape. Has original spare and jack, and original tires that were put back on the car.

I have a partial build sheet (does match the car and only bottom portion is missing) which will send to serious buyer only. Has sport wheel and AM-FM radio. Original Bias-Ply tires are on car but will sell a set of radials and newer Torque Thrust wheels with car for additional cost. Please email or PM me with questions.

Car is located in Minnesota and I am selling for a good friend/collector who is also a member here. This car is priced below market value for a quick sale. Would make a perfect entry level driver quality car for someone who wants to restore it over time themselves and will include our signed Chevelle restoration book to the buyer. Many more photos available upon request.

$44,600

Thanks Rick, I have a complete original 70 SS396 Elcamino, will be neat to check it for the valve. Did 69 Chevelles and Elcos have that valve too.

Thanks Gregg

I am not in tune with the 69's the way I am with 70's but our 69 Chevelle disc brake car does NOT have the valve.

Sorry I did not respond sooner. Annie made me turn off my phone during our Easter festivities. Message returned.
