Default '69 Sunbeam Alpine GT...Orig California Black Plate Project...$2600

At $2600 you could make a real screamer out of this one with a SBF and some elbow grease. I think it would be quite the cool sleeper and the oddball factor would be worth it....

i kinda dig it......LS series motor would be easy...but the Ford power would make it different..and different is cool...

dont touch it except to make it fast and put it back together...weathered and all.....hmmmm...wonder if i have room for another...

Exactly...I like the LS idea. For under $3k it's a cool starting point and seems mostly complete.

This oddball was a no-sale the last time around, and it's been relisted for $2400.

Someone's got to get that little tractor engine out of there and make it fast....

That has brought back a childhood memory of seeing one of these on my way to the park one summer's day, growing up in England, and being utterly smitten by it amongst all the drab and sedately styled Austins, Fords and Vauxhalls.
Only observation now is that the wheels look disproportionately small, but still love the overall styling. Thanks for taking me back in time Tony!
