Got the rear A/C lines made and installed today.......Had to take the A/C unit out for the last time and had to feed the lines thru the cowl ......got everything buttoned up and re-installed.......I was going to start installing the front sheetmetal, but then I decided to wait until after I got the headers installed......they should be here early next week..........I also got a call from Steve at Vintage Auto Radio that the stock AM radio is finished with it's solid state AM/FM/Satelite conversion and will be shipped out tomorrow........ http://www.vintageautoradio.com/

Also.......For anybody that is doing "Garage Restorations"......LOL.......It was recommended by Charley to use this SEM paint for the underhood painting and touch-ups that I was doing.....I was using a Rustoleum paint.....but it took forever to dry and sometimes wasn't really compatible with the existing paint.......This paint is the Bomb.......Dries in minutes, perfect sheen........and no Fisheyes........Great stuff!!!........Just thought I would pass it along

Wow . . . . just last weekend I saw several cans of that SEM Trim Black on a buddy's workbench that he's using on a vintage Corvette. I asked him about it and he was very impressed by the product.

That varies from car to car........I use the little magnetic ones and play around till I find a spot that gives consistent signal.........Probably on the rear package tray or Front dash area.....the best spot I found was running the wires back thru the trunk and mounting the antenna at the front edge of the trunk lid by the rear window........But.....I don't like having it outside and on the paint.....

The Fan assembly showed up today..........so.....Time to start dealing with getting the A/C condenser, supercharger intercooler, and radiator figured out and mounted.....also John at Speartech called and the harness is finished and ready to ship.......and......the headers will be here on Friday...........

So.....I originally was going to mount the intercooler on the front side of the core support, then the condenser, then the radiator and fans.......and that got a little complicated......so....I took the Vintage Air brackets and mounted the condenser per their instructions............Hummm!!!!.......then I took the intercooler and placed it in the middle position.......Hummm!!!.......the intercooler is only about an 1 1/2" thick.....Hummm!!...........Perfect.......So...I'l l make some mounting brackets and get everything mounted in that order........Condenser, Intercooler, Radiator.......The fans pull a little over 3000 fpm.........and if the A/C is on I won't be using any boost and vice versa........Maybe not the factory way to do it but that's what I'm gonna do..........Too Simple and there will be plenty of room for everything to fit......
