Near NOS 1965 dated Holley 3310 carburetor
Unrestored original unit in near pristine condition, coloring on castings only mildly faded, steel hardware is beautiful, ink stamps are still perfect. Dated 551, or the 1st week of May 1965. This is as close to NOS as you're ever likely to find. It is an original, not a restamp, has the correct early 1965-only main body casting (will not divulge specifics on an open forum), correct early primary metering block.
~2 years ago a similarly dated core sold on eBay for approximately $3500.00, and it needed rebuilt/restored. This unit will need nothing more than a very basic rebuild. $4,000.00 firm as-is. Pics available only to serious buyers, I will not post them on the forum. Call during posted business hours or email only. Eric |

After payment & carb are received,can you or the new owner post detailed pics on here?
I for one would sure enjoy learning about these original details,but also understand if either of you still stand by your initial decision. |

Re: Near NOS 1965 dated Holley 3310 carburetor
Eric,
Thanks for the e-mails and helping me out. I was elated to find out that I had the twin to this carb (including the date) and was just getting ready to call you and confirm what I thought I had when you posted your add. Never know what you might find when you move and clean out the attic.

Re: Near NOS 1965 dated Holley 3310 carburetor
Rick P;
I personally would much rather not disclose the proprietary details which distinguish these original carbs on a public forum as that only makes the job easier for any restampers who might be perusing these forums. However, if you wish, I will send you an email with a few details on the condition that you please keep the information to yourself. Note: I will not pass this info along to anyone else who requests it unless I personally know them and trust them. I'm honestly not trying to be difficult; rather, I'm trying very hard to help protect the integrity of this business/industry/hobby as best as I can. It needs all the help it can get. I do hope the new owner of this carb shares my sentiments. Rick N; I am always glad to help you out however I can. You've been an exemplary customer/resource/business associate, of which I am truly thankful. Eric |
