With a little cleaning ...we will be able to reuse the original carpet because it is in excellent condition.

The chrome is finally back and looks perfect ...all the big pieces and the little trinkets such as the original born with remote mirror and original born with SS Hood Louvers . We used Niagara Chrome . They are awesome. Pics coming soon. Our car update is we hope to have paint on the car by Christmas.

Well it’s early Sunday morning and I have been on the road since 6:30 AM going over to pick up the original owner John Weaver to go see the 67 Yenko ... it is only about a 35 minute drive or less from Greensburg PA to Frank Arone’s in Homer City PA. It will be nice to get some good windshield time with John. His memory is very sharp . Here is a photo of John (SuperMan) Weaver from 69/70

nice photo

Doug,
I am curious if John recalls anything about hood pins?

Many of the 67 Yenkos had hood pins installed by Yenko and was on original paperwork on some along with the 67 Yenko options headers, scatershield, gauges, traction bars, hi temp wires.

This car has many options listed. I didn't see hoop pins on your paper work but your build is different then the average in many ways.

keep up the good work
