Default AMC SC/Rambler AIR Team car

Thank you Xplantdad (Bruce) for all your help on the picture posting. Grasshopper learned well.

Here is the history on how this car came to be: http://www.ramblerrogue.com/maverick.htm

This car was one of James Garners American International Racing (AIR) team cars. They had ten and only two were 4WD.

Hope you guys can expand your horizons and enjoy this one, it's a real oddball.

The AIR decal

Some sponsors

The drivers names. Frickers name was misspelled

Numbers on the roof and night driving lights up high to reduce glare.

Strap into the deist belts and settle into the comfy sofa you got to sit on for 500 miles through the desert

Ignition key kept on a lanyard

Engine was set back over a foot to compensate for the added weight in the front from the 4WD differential. Check out the modified firewall and radiator set back.

Front differential

Dual front shocks

Undercarriage

Having a well deserved snooze
