Default DZ 302 and M20 Case #s Matching

Selling a DZ 302 short block and M20 main case taken out of a low mile Z/28 back in the early 70s. Stamping on the block is V0526DZ. Stamping on the transmission is P9E06A. VIN # is 9N6571xx. Same VIN is clear on both the block and transmission. The transmission case has no cracks, welds, stripped holes, etc. The short block has been professionally rebuilt and reassembled: tanked, pressure tested, line bored, new cam bearings, new engine bearings, new frost plugs, fresh cylinder hone, etc. The entire rotating assembly has been gone through and original to the block. The 1178 crank has been polished and is standard. The rods have been resized, bushed, floating, new ARP rod bolts. Original pistons with moly rings (block is standard bore).

Other Z/28 parts for the motor and trans are available.

Rare find for an "born together" DZ block and transmission to still be together; especially in this condition.

Asking $6,500 for the rebuilt short block and transmission main case. Pictures available.

Call Matt if interested or need more information 814-244-7108. Can deliver to Carlisle Thursday. Thanks sYc in advance.
