Default Gorgeous Orig Paint '63 Chrysler 300J, Factory 4-Speed

How great is this car - original black paint with a red interior, and the 413 with an upgraded mechanical cam that's supposed to be good for 415hp. On top of all this, it's an original California car that still retains its black license plates.

About as good as it gets for a '63 300J hardtop....

We had a triple white '63 Chrysler 300 convertible when I was a kid. Ours wasn't a 4-speed or dual carb letter series car but these still put a smile on my face when I see them. Interesting that this has a cable driven tach.

Neat car, but it looks so goofy with the shifter coming out of the floor next to the console rather than thru it.

Amazing combo also condition, it’ll be interesting to see what it reaches.
Note action description includes dig at Sean’s ‘60, likely this one…

----Love this beast! Talk about an unusual cars and coffee car. This had to be an ordered car, so I have to wonder if the OO had other Chrysler letter cars as well. Love to know some more history as well!....Bill S

Something isn’t quite adding up on this one. 1963 300J had a 3sp manual as a no cost option, but no 4 speed offered until the 300K in ‘64. As you may recall, Chrysler didn’t use the BW T10 and didn’t offer 4 speeds in higher HP B bodies until ‘64 when the A-833 box was developed and released in-house. (*edit, a friend just called to talk about the car and the seller said that the car came to him with a 4 speed installed but he says it is one of just 4 or 5 original 3 speed manual cars. Ram intake manifolds were also on it when he got it.)
