Default '68 Camaro, 1 of 18

I don't believe the good folks at sYc will believe this story, but according to the seller, this '68 was one of 18 vehicles built by Chevy to demonstrate the SS package to dealerships. I'm not believing it especially since this car is toward the end of 1968 production...but writing the '1 of 18' claim in the auction heading sure got my attention!

Also interesting that this car has a factory tach but no console, so presumably it has no fuel gauge.

I think his location of "Happy Valley" about says it all. Interesting that he thinks GM would wait almost 2 YEARS to parade example SS cars around the dealers.

What's going on with the rear in this car? Looks like the rear is shifted to the right and sits up so high on the right side?
