Mopar guy needs 1970 L78 help
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">A local guy is selling his 1970 SS 396 Chevelle 4-speed with the L78 engine. He claims the engine is matching numbers, but the numbers look too good to factory. Not an expert by no means though. Do any of you Chevy guys think this is a legit stamping?</div></div>

Re: Mopar guy needs 1970 L78 help
I think it's odd how they stopped the milling machine in straight line to leave stamp. Is this possible?

They are definitely getting better at it. If not for a couple of really stupid mistakes this could have gotten by most.

Re: Mopar guy needs 1970 L78 help
It may be "matching numbers" due to someone's overactive (but, not well executed) imagination. It just ain't original!!
