Question - pretty rare NOS part. I’ve seen survivor verts with satin moldings that were painted satin. Was paint used to create the satin finish on this NOS molding? Or does it appear to be lightly glass beaded to dull the original bright chrome finish?

I would say that’s paint. I have 67 nos chrome ones unopened in the box.

I have a pair of 80s NOS moldings and they are painted. Factory moldings were satin chromed. Those would be for a 69 and maybe a 68 IMO.
