Could be your block?
Hi, Just ran across this and thought it might be useful to someone looking for it. VIN is still legible.
https://southjersey.craigslist.org/p...841537244.html I have an original 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 375hp L78 engine block. This is damaged at the sleeve and needs repair. The 4 bolt main caps are missing. Casting number is 3969854 and is dated F-30-9. Engine ID pad is stamped T0703JD. Perfect for a mock up engine or if you want to have it repaired. $50 takes it. 609-320-8025 Matt. No texts.
