Default 1960's GM oil filter canisters

Is there anybody that restores original 1960s GM oil filter canisters? The original one on my 1966 SS396 needs to be painted and have the silk screen instructions put back on. Thanks, Mike

Contact Paragon Corvette. They re screen the new ones for the reproduction market but the details might get fuzzy they may require you to remove all the risidual oil from the filter.

If I were you I would offer to execute a "hold Harmless" in the event the filter no longer functions - and you suffer some kind of issue with the engine down the road.

That done and the right money and they might do it for you.

I would recommend Ken Hansen at Orindales in Medina, TN. 731-783-0815

No one does it better. And no one else's will last as long.
