Those eBay ball joints are for '67 and '68 cars as they are domed topped. 1969 ball joints are raised in the center with a flat top.

EARLY 69 used the bubble top as well...
My 10D 69 Z originally had bubble tops... IIRC there are some Dec cars with bubble tops as well... The Black 04C Z28 had the flat topped BJ's. Given all of this I am sure Steve knows exactly what he is looking for...
