Default Camaro Subframe.

I am about to do a mechanical restoration on my 68 Z28. I have a fresh motor, trans and rearend to install along with some suspension parts.

My original sub frame has a huge dent caused by a flywheel explosion years ago. I am inclined to replace the subframe and want to know what year Camaro/Nova/firebird will be interchangeable.
I have lead right now on a 1973 Nova frame a few hundred miles away and priced right.

Advice and info appreciated.

1967, 1968, & 1969 all have a few difference between. Mainly the snubber area for the lower control arms. There's others...Joe

I may have a 68 Camaro sub frame if you're interested.

As stated above, subtle differences from year to year. If you want to be techinically correct, you will need a 68 subframe. The others will work.

A friend here in Alberta had a clean 68 Sub Frame a couple years ago that he wanted me to take but I left it behind. It was straight and very clean. It's just North of Red Deer. I can look up his number if you want to call him to see if he still has it? I'll PM you his name and number. Great guy and I think the price was free when he offered to me. If he still has it...the frame was real decent.
