I think you are probably right Mike. I just wish I could get some pics of some original cars with am/fm.
Seems unlikely they would take the time to remove the top on even though it wasn't being used.

I took these pictures of my '69 tonight. The second picture shows 2 plugs below the heater box and beside the chassis ground strap. They are plugs I put in when I removed the hang on air that was installed under the glove box. The 2 A/C hoses could have been a reason to move the suppressor to the top of the heater box but the heater wire looks way short unless it was mostly taped in the loom. The 1 clip is now used for the starter loom. Right or wrong it's how it is now. Clint |

I didn't think it would be so hard to find these pieces. I found the clips from member BBBentley, Bentley, and the junction block from 69z28freak, Mike, from T.C. Thanks guys for helping me out and thanks sYc.
