1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 JL8 For Sale
I came across this Z28 that is advertised an one of the original JL8 factory built cars. Is there a registry or some other way of validating the car without the build sheet? I don't believe that is within the purview of the MCACN judging?

I hate seeing crossmembers in backwards.
There is no registry that I know of. You would need someone who really knows JL8 parts to see what you are getting on the car. They repop most everything. Original front rotor shields are probably the hardest part to find for the front parts. Fake rearends have been around since the mid-eighties. The whole car has been restored, so it is hard to know what they replaced or what original parts have been restored. - Warren |
