Fleet Chevrolet in westchester ny COPO

I used to live in Crestwood NY and I remember seeing a silver 69 plain jain camaro in a local neighbors garage.I remember he was a service manager at Fleet chevrolet and use to race the car.I believe the car might have been a COPO. This was back in the 70s.Anyway a friend up there still believes the car is in the garage even though the owner long past.Does anybody know if Fleet chevrolet in Mt.Vernon NY on Mc queston Hwy (sp) sold COPOs? I know they are long out of business but just curious if I should hunt this car down.Thanks.
