Re: 1969 YENKO TRANSPORT PHOTO. IDENTIFY CARS IN PHOTO
I could be wrong but,it looks like only two of the first 50 cars that were Daytona Yellow went to Gates and they were both very late in Jan cars. Body for 578752 looks to be built Jan 23 and the body 578812 was built jan 24. Both are after the Photo was taken on 2-13.
I don't see any Fathom Green of the first 50 that went to Gates either. I agree it would be great to have the page with the orange & blue cars to see the build and ship dates to confirm. Cant we see vin, color, dealer for the first 50 now with the new registry on this site? That is where I was able to get all the dealer breakdown for the first 50 cars. |

Re: 1969 YENKO TRANSPORT PHOTO. IDENTIFY CARS IN PHOTO
Sorry My mistake, I have been looking at the numbers too long! Both DY Gates cars built before the 2-13 photo not after as I stated above. But still only two Fathom Green cars were delivered before the 2-13 pic taken and no Fathom Green of the first 50 to Gates as far as I can tell.

You can own them for $500k. My customer was interested in purchasing all the records but Vince was not moving off of $500k for the box so no sale.
