I'm a big fan of Cortez silver with the black vinyl combination. My 1969 X11 under construction is a 69B and I was going to leave the vinyl top off but now as I get older I really think I'll go back to a vinyl top. There are better pictures on the web but this was quick and easy.

Typical sales scheme, set the reserve sky high and see how high the bid gets. He can then decide if he wants to offer it at the high bid, or try again. Sounds like he SHOULD sell it, but maybe he's not that, um, what I was going to say would be considered politically in-correct...
