Pontiac 8 lugs - what are they worth?
Found these 8 lugs today. I'm not really a Pontiac guy, but thought they were cool so I bought them. From the estate of a guy who was a Pontiac dealer and raced a factory lightweight back in the 60s. All dated within 2 weeks of each other March 1962. His son said that he removed them from the race car before he turned it back in to Pontiac. Wheels and drums complete. What are they worth?

Boy, that brings back some memories. I remember the first time I saw a set in 1970. Wasn't sure what to think. Worked on several Pontiacs with those wheels/drums in the next few years. I alwasy took special care to NOT take off any more material than I had to to get them true. Some guys weren't so careful.
Biggest variable is whether the drum is still in spec. Put a mic on them.

If they are true and have a couple turnings left they are desirable. If need to be relined I was quoted they are worth $35 each as cores.Tom

The part numbers are for 60-62. I spiffed them - no polish. Look pretty nice for unrestored wheels. Any other thoughts on value?

Just an FYI, and you've probably seen this, but only one set on ebay currently, with 46 watchers.
