Went back in the archives and did some diggin. I attached some pics of my old 69 L78 Nova, specifically the Fisher Build Sheet and rear stampings. Some items to note

The build date of the car was April 26, 04 26 (denoted upper left on BS)
Rear CAST date was April 11
Rear ASSEMBLY date April 18

The rear was more than likely, original to the car as to get a 69 BW rear with matching dates to the rest of the car would be next to impossible. Now on the COPO issue, and the experts can chime in here, boxes 12 and 13 appear to indicate any COPO designation, there is nothing in those boxes.

I would only add that the CRD on the Nova broadcast sheets has been somewhat of a mystery meaning credit to some and customer order to others and in this case i think Smoky believes this is means COPO. ONLY Smoky knows.....

This car was posted on E bay back in 2010 as a PROJECT CAR Item # 220582557063 4/11/2010 69 SS 396 NOVA vin # 114279W401399
( 396/375 T0 107 JH orig motor 4spd trans 12 bolt rr)
Here is the trim tag info from back then:
ST 69 11427 WRN 258250BDY
TR 732 65F PNT
01B A B

Here's a '77 newspaper article on the Copo 9C1 Novas as Joe mentioned above.
Last is an ad for what sounds like one, somewhat amazing to see the Copo word being used in 1978.
