Default Antenna Mast repair???

The internet provided no results. Has anybody had success straightening a mast or know somebody offering Antenna repair or restoration. It is on my 68 Camaro with a rear antenna. Seems like a long shot, but the repo's aren't close and I've been looking for a couple month for a NOS or a nice used one without success. Thanks

Is it the same mast as the front antenna? I have a nice original.

Tony,

It is my understanding the AM only antenna is the same front or rear. The Antenna is a telescopic oval mast including the tip with or without a groove in the tip. I'll post a picture tomorrow, it's to cold go down to shop and remove it tonight. If it matches the one I have I'd be interested. Thanks Paul

HeartbeatCity lists a NOS "assembly line correct" rear 67 telescoping antenna that has a round ball-end.

Did some come with ball end?

I’ll get pics tonight. I’m sure mine does have the groove in the top though.

I have one that has a slight bend in it and was afraid of ruining it trying to straighten it!
