Default TCS solenoid

Hi everyone. Just purchased a 1970 W-31 4 speed car. It has the tcs solenoid on the side cover, but is not connected. My question, am I able to run the with it not connected? Haven’t been been able to find the wire anywhere that would be it. The trans is not the matching number for the car. Thanks in advance. Gene.

Yes, you can run without the wire attached to the pin switch in the trans sidecover, but just make sure your TCS solenoid on intake is also bypassed. Make sure the dist vac advance is plugged directly into full intake vac - usually via the base of the carb.

Do you have any pics of your W31? That's my dream car.
