'66 Chevelle 300 427/4-sp
Love it, but it's being consigned by Volo, and it's $88k. Nevertheless, looks like a nice car.

Use of the Malibu interior kit in a 300 is always a little disappointing. But I guess relatively few folks are willing to spend the $$$ (and wait forever) to get a correct interior from SMS.
But the bigger pet peeve of mine is the red painted metal in a fawn interior. Since they used all the stock Malibu interior parts, seems reasonable to assume they were trying to make it look stock inside; but the red painted stuff just ruins it, IMO. On a side note, it is amazing the seemingly high percentage of 66-67 300's and 300-Deluxes that you see with factory air, versus the percentage of Malibus and SS's. I had a 67 300-Deluxe awhile back that was a base 6-cylinder car, 3-on-the-tree, no radio, and no options anywhere, except it had factory AC!!

Glad you mentioned that horrendous red interior paint. If it had the correct, Dark Fawn, to match the seats, it would be very attractive.
