Hi, can anyone tell me, if the merollis chevy dealer in garden city mich.sold copo's,,or were they involved with racing in any way in the 60's??? thank you

No, I didnt know him, I heard about what he did,he also was making f/selling fake parts related to cars saying they were original parts

Theres a Merollis chevrolet in Eastpointe Mi that I heard was pretty involved in the supercars back in the day. Dont know if the two are affiliated or not.

That is the "jingle" from his ads, oh about 40 years ago! I used to hear that on the radio daily.

&quot;The great Great Guy &quot; jingle was part of a franchise marketing campaign that GM offered in the 70's and 80's. When I lived in Winnipeg from 77-80 a dealer named Terry Balkin used the campaign as did a Vancouver dealer at the same time. For those whi read Jim Wangers book when he had his franchise in Milwalkie he used the program there. GM marketing likely made sure that two dealers from the same region whould not have the same campaign.

Sorry to be a neophyte regarding this, but were there actually 5 ZL-1's stolen?

And if so, were any of them ever found?
