Always been one of my favorite color combos. Never was a fan of vinyl tops when I was younger, but they really provide a nice contrast on the early 2nd Gens. Never got to see that car in person, but I still reference the detail photos I have in my archives for my project.

Since the first time I saw this car, I have always dreamed of owning it.

All that the car is missing is the RS package to be perfect, but I'll take it just the same.

My opinion, I like it WITHOUT the RS package, similar to the way I like a flat hood 69 Z/28. Most of them came that way, but have been added over the years.

I love options, and in particular the RS option on first gens, but second gen prefer without RS. We Vintage Certified that car in 2005 and it it was awarded LEGEND, our highest award at that time.

I tend to agree buddy...but then again I'm partial to full bumper cars.

What's the worst is when people put RS bumperettes on a non-RS car............UGH!

Absolutely Dave! If it's not an RS, or the full RS change (front grill extension and turn signals) hasn't been done, then don't put on the two separate bumperettes.

And I may be in the minority, but I like the full bumper look. EVERYONE does the bumperettes these days, ugh.
