Default Bolts, Studs or Both?

Hi all.

Stupid question for the day.....
Looking to fit the Quadrajet on my Chevelle and am not sure whether it is bolts or studs and nuts on the rear is correct. Obviously bolts on the front.
TIA.

It has studs & nuts in the rear. That's how my 325hp 69 Camaro is...Joe

Logically they did this to allow stacking and indexing of the gasketing matrix that was installed under the carb. Thus allowing less assembly frustrations and repairs down the road.
