Default Very Cool '67 Merc Cyclone GT, 390/4-sp, Stored Since '78

Been off the road since the year I was born...hard to believe someone could mothball such a cool car for decades.

That's cool. I'd clean it up, give it whatever it needs mechanically and drive it.

That is quite the fuel delivery set up there. Fuel delivered directly into metering block (stock.?) and gear driven secondaries. Bet that 428 was wound up more than a few times..

I believe the fuel comes in the other side of the front bowl.

You're right, that is a funky vacuum source

That must have been some kind of funky "indoor storage" for the interior to get looking like that.

I’m a Chevy guy but this is another kewl Ford......

The carbs on a Ford are different than a Chevy when it comes to fuel delivery. They feed fuel to the drivers side front fuel bowl filter then it transfers fuel to the passenger side, through the fuel tube, to the rear fuel bowl. The hose from the front metering block is going to the distributor for vacuum advance.
