Default '67 Chevelle SS

I caught him with the garage door open today. I tried to buy this car a long time ago, but the owner wanted too much for it. I believe he really didn't want to sell it, so he just put a huge price on it. I wish I had bought it anyway. He has owned it since '69. Original paint, top, interior, drivetrain and 90,000 miles. I have never seen it out of the garage. No, it's not for sale.

I don't know. He didn't open the hood and I didn't ask. He had the radiator out of it for repairs. He poked a hole in the original radiator while he was tightening the bolts in the fan. I guess he didn't want me to see the mess.

Looks very clean. Granada Gold, don't see many that color.
There is a mask on the shifter, so maybe he sneaks it out when you aren't looking...

Love that. Was only a mediocre fan of gold BITD, but it's grown on me immensely and love it now. Man, that would be a sweetie if you could get it.

My neighbor had a red '67 across the street that had a built 427, air shocks and N50's that rattled the windows in our house when he started it. I always drooled over it. He let it sit outside for years until he got it out and painted it yellow (just didn't fit that car). Shortly after getting it back from the shop he took it down to get some gas but for some reason only put 3 of 5(!) lugnuts on and around a bend that rear wheel came off and trashed the quarter panel. This was a smart guy, so no idea why he did that. Always wondered if he still has that car.

I saw the mask. He said that he took it to a local car show a few weeks ago. I think he's had it out a few times this year, but I haven't seen it. It's been parked in the garage for many years and he's just started getting it out. I think it was around 1980 when I tried to buy it. At that time he had a '69 302 in it. He put the 396 back in it several years ago and the 302 is sitting in his shop.
