Frank Dihartce
Just letting everyone know that Frank Dihartce died last month.
Frank was a research guy and knew most everything about the 1969 Z/28s, crossrams and JL8s. Back in the early eighties it turned out Frank and I were rivals. Always competing for some cool part in HMN that related to the '69 Camaro. About 15 years ago Frank started selling off his rare small block parts collection and he moved on to buy ZL1 #58. I was also told he had purchased another 9561 COPO that came from the same dealer at Indian River Chevrolet in Florida. Even though I lost touch with Frank, he was always a wealth of information when we spoke. Sorry to hear he has passed and I hope all his car treasures go to a good home where they are appreciated as much as Frank cared for them. - Warren https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/sf...&pid=197055412 |
