Frank Finkenbinder had his six pack 70 Superbird there. This car has been at MCACN several times. It was there last year in the Wellborn Wing Car display.

Dan Sharp had his twin turbo big block 63 Nova there. It won the True Street Race at the NMCA event in Norwalk OH the past two years. In '22 he won with an 8.33 average and in '23 he won with a 7.82 average. For those who don't know the True Street Race begins with a 30-mile cruise followed by three consecutive quarter mile runs down the track. You aren't allowed to open the hood and only minimal maintenance like changing tire pressures, adding fuel or packing parachutes is allowed.

Bryant Goldstone hosted his annual show at his shop in Dunlap on Saturday. There were probably 100 or so cars there. This 32 Ford 3-window coupe is the latest build by Jim Wise. He has a shop at his house in Goshen and builds some really nice cars. Several of them have been featured in magazines over the years. This car was in the running for Street Rod of the Year at the Goodguys event in Columbus OH this year. It is LS powered with a manual transmission.

This is Jack Stone's Red Hot 19 ZL-1 Camaro. From the factory this car came with a 650 horse 6.2L engine with a 10 speed automatic. That wasn't enough for Jack so he added an aftermarket intake with an F-1 ProCharger along with headers and other items. It now puts over 1,000 horsepower to the rear wheels.

Since Bryant is a Drag Week regular there were a number of cars there that have participated in Drag Week. I believe I counted at least seven cars there that run 7's or faster and are street legal. This is David Armentrout's 67 Nova. It is powered by a 540 with twin turbos. He finished 2nd in Unlimited this year and 6th overall at Drag Week. He averaged a 7.63 at the five tracks with a best pass of 7.24@195.
