Default 67 68 Brake and Fuel Line Clips

I noticed that the repops come in reddish color / finish. My question is that correct for I have my original and they show no signs of red and mine. My originals still has some original natural finish on them.

Any help would be kindly appreciated

I believe you are right about the red color. I kept that color on my double line clips and have never had any judging points subtract for it. They really stand out but I believe they are correct.

FWIW, '67 Chevelles and Corvettes use what appears to be the same clips, which I have never seen any color than green (attached pic). Quanta medium green Zinc Chromate Primer is a good match. I've always wondered why the repro clips come in red?
