I recognize that street! It is downtown New Haven, Connecticut. The New Haven Green is on the left. It is the corner of Church and Chapel Streets. My Dad was a surgeon and had his office a couple blocks to the left of the photo, on Church Street South. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]

The photo is circa 1971, judging from the lime green Vega next to the Pontiac station wagon, the CT Transit buses...It's 3:55 PM, according to the Second National Bank of New Haven sign.
