I have seen where the shakers have a net that opens up and catches the nuts. Suprized they let them go on the ground

@ the 2:57 mark of Vid 2,he says they want to let them dry out on the ground for awhile first.

Yep saw that. What I remember is the machine catches them and then dumps them on large tables where they dry and are separated. No doubt there is a reason for their methods.
