In Sept 2012 in Altoona, PA there was a Gold restored 69 L89 from NJ went thru judging and was for sale in 2013 for $150K, and I believe it took some time & sold for $125K. I had my 6k mile monaco orange survivor there also & I sold it in Feb 2013 for $315K & it just recently sold again last year for $400k & now resides in CA.

That blue L89 at Mecum Kissimmee looks like an awesome car but according to Mecum $90k high bid not accepted (not listed as SOLD). Automatic trans is a hurdle for many buyers but colors/paper/quality look impressive.

----I rode in a friends 69 435 turbo 400 car a long time ago. Started looking for another one then as it was a ball to drive. His wasn't quite stock but pretty close. when he drove it he left the shifter in low and let it shift itself. It shifted by itself at around 6500 rpm really violently. Trans was absolutely stock and I think the stall was about 25-2600. I never did find the right car,,,,Oh well!...….Bill S

Since the old grey haired guys are the only ones buying, Id say an auto trans would be a big hit as not many have the strength to push the clutch pedal in . On the shifter plate Instead of 1 2 3 it should just say LOW T

I had a yellow 68 L89 that was either Bloomington Gold or Silver depending on NCRS weirdness. I think I sold it for about 35K. Doc rebuild has it now I think.
