Default Camaro replacement carpet

Who makes the best replacement carpet set for 67-9 Camaro's?

Thanks

I have always had the best luck with Auto Custom Carpets (ACC). They seem to require the least amount of effort to make them fit correctly.

Hopefully ACC has improved quality control. I bought mine maybe 15 years ago. I sent the first one back because the jute padding was so far from where it should be. Second one was better, but still not right.
I had to shave most of the jute padding off and re-attach it in the correct position.
It lacks just about a half inch being wide enough, and won't stay tucked in on the passenger side under the kick panel.

What do you suggest then Lynn? I have used all of them and theirs seems to be the best by far. I would certainly be interested in looking into any others that are better.

I am assuming there are only a couple of actual carpet manufacturer's and most of the places that sell carpet either sell ACC or a competitor?

I just used a Trim Parts 69 Camaro carpet on my last car. It sucked, did not fit that well and was very thin, you could see the backing with a light on it. Maybe others have used Trim Parts with better luck ? All the rest I used were ACC, all I can say is there OK, not great.

----Its my impression that the few molded carpet producers out there all seem to be trying to meet a price, rather than meet a quality objective. If just one manufacturer would produce a factory quality molded carpet and charge us the amount necessary I think they would be very surprised by the response.
----Jake,,,I would have to say that ACC is probably the best out there, but they aren't doing the best that they could. Has Dave worn a hole under the clutch pedal??? .....Bill S

I was able to use the ACC. It is still in my car. I doubt anyone has noticed that it doesn't tuck under the right kick panel (other than me).

Don't know that there is a better alternative. I will say the loop looked very much like an original carpet. Also, as far as the molded shape of the carpet, I have no complaints. I do not know if they have fixed that particular quality control issue. Like I said, it has been quite a few years. The vendor was quick to take it back and send another once I explained the problem.

I found it strange that I experienced the exact same issue (to a different degree) with two different ones. I chalked it up to a bad batch, and figured it would take less time to remove and properly place the jute padding than to wait on another one. I also found it strange that I never saw a post on any of the web sites complaining of the jute being put on incorrectly. I couldn't have been the only one, and received the only two that were improperly glued on.
