Brake Fluid?
Hello,
So I just had my master cylinder and booster redone on my 70 Chevelle SS. I am kind of scared to get fluid on my shiny booster. So I have to ask, what kind of brake fluid do you use? I am not driving this car in auto crosses or anything, its used as a weekend cruiser... Thanks for the help!!

Re: Brake Fluid?
I used silicone in mine. More susceptible to boiling, but won't harm the paint.

Re: Brake Fluid?
DOT 5. Can be tough to seal off at the fittings, and gets 'spongier' quicker imo (think racing!), but doesn't absorb H2O and is 'friendlier'.
