Default New Bold Airlines

I am so sick of being bumped, delayed and canceled. A couple of weeks ago my son sat in the plane on the runway for over six hours!!

Why that's just the free market at work! The airlines used to be heavily regulated until 1978 but that was bad, bad, bad. Since deregulation the bad airlines were either gobbled up or put out of business (Darwinsim is okay if we're talking about business) and now we have a good, good, good system of money-making airlines! Oh, and you used to have to wear a coat and tie (men) and dresses and hats (women) but you don't have to do that anymore! Now you can hop on in your flip-flops, sweats, and tank-top and you don't even have to shower or shave (men: face; women: legs and pits) first! You can then demand First Class service in your lowest-bid Internet fare coach seat! Isn't it much better now? Now if we could get all that overpaid airline labor to work for free the U.S. airline system would be perfect! Enjoy your flight!

Don't get me started on the recent awarding to Airbus of the USAF tanker deal! Please pass the "Freedom Fries!"

(BTW, I love that clip!)

wild Bill.. question,I thought 60# was the bag weight limit and was informed its 50# per bag 2 per customer on the last trip we just did.

I was told "insert name" airline is going to start saying you get "one" bag at 50# per customer, and heavy fee's if you show up with more...have you heard anything like this?? ..

Bud, I recently booked my regular New York to Myrtle Beach and a few days later the airline emailed me and said it would be $10.00 per checked bag if I pay online a month in advance or $25.00 per checked bag at the gate. peanuts and carry-on bags still free.

extra weight = extra fuel = extra charge

Bud, the airline complaint line is 1-800-EAT-SH*T. Expect to be put on hold for hours if not days. Your call may be routed through a call center in India but they have been trained to talk with a South Carolina accent so you won't be reminded of outsourcing.

Seriously, I have no idea what the carry-on rules are, I just fly the thing. I am certain that you will be fee'd to death one way or another.

A good airline can make a penny into 50 feet of copper wire.

ok, I called the hot line, your right there trying hard to hide the accent, but I heard him pedalling his bike to stay connected, it just kinda blew me away when the baggage lady mentioned it when I was asking about weights, hell its easy to come up with a couple bags even going sparse if the climate is not warm where your headed about 40/50lbs, I get the extra weight = fuel and them poeple who show up with 3/4 bags 70# each need to pay up. guess we will see how it goes just kinda hit me wrong and pizzed me off they want to charge for a second bag ontop of all the other bs with flying these days, they know darn well you cant go on vaction and make it on one bag per guy...anyway not venting at you it's just rather rude.

dunno whats going on with the cabin workers but there one of the most grumpy hateing life group I have been around on the last few flights and they pretty much let you know it, ...are they getting jacked by there unions??? where did all the babes go??? nothing but gay guys and 50yr old crabby pot belly grannies around...
