Pay It Forward-Free Front Runner Tires
Good morning.
I apologize for this post being in the wrong section. I am not able to post in the Pay It Forward section. I have a pair of Goodyear 6.85x15 Polyester Cord front runner tires. They had thread on them at one time and somebody made them slicks. One is worn through in one spot as seen in the photos. They are from the late 60s or early 70s, I believe. They would look great on an original or used drag car for display only. I have no idea if they will hold air. I am a follower of this site and have been helped out with information in the past so I figured I would see if I can help somebody out with these before they go in the trash. FREE. Just pay the shipping and they are yours. Please fell free to move this post to the proper section if that is possible. |

Re: Pay It Forward-Free Front Runner Tires
I took a bunch of old tires to walmart, and its $1.50 per tire disposal. In the end they actually took 9 tires for free, and even dismounted two of them off some old wheels for free. try walmart and save some money.

Re: Pay It Forward-Free Front Runner Tires
I do have a means of disposal that will not cost me anything. I didn't know if it is difficult to find period correct front runners and figured somebody may have a use for them. I will take your advice and send to the junk yard in the sky!!!!
