Default Mecum Kissimmee JL8 Z-28 - Thoughts?

Considering this car but wondering about why a deluxe interior car with Tach/gauges has NO CLOCK? Also, the shifter handle appears incorrect. It looks flat instead of round. Does anyone have any more info on this car? Thanks

See: http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_de...=FL0113-143201

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge a clock is included with the U17 Instrumentation option (tach/gauges). The shifter handle looks correct to me with the round handle and a flat area for the HURST lettering.

I would guess reproduction on the instrument carrier and I always get suspicious about the amount of reproduction parts used when I see something as obvious as a fake Rosewood wheel.

One last comment and that is no pictures of the brakes which, to me anyway, is the main selling point of this car.

I know I'm being picky, but it really steams my clams when they can't put the grille emblem in the right spot! there are provisions on the back to make sure it goes in the right spot. Also you could not get gauges without a clock.

shifter handle sure looks correct to me.....handle is round except where Hurst is stamped which is correct for a Z28.

I briefly looked at it. The board did mention the interior color was changed. I saw the first page ofJerrys report. He will have what needs to be corrected on the 2nd. I don't know if its with the car or not
