I would guess 67/68 when radial tires started to hit the market.

I had many sets of 15x4 Cragar.. Don't remember bead locks. Those Rockets wheels are early to mid 70's.

A guy named Shawn Gilliam on facebook had one mint 15x4 Rocket wheel and was looking for another.

The car manufactures started to introduce bead locks around 67/68 even mid production years. VW stared mid production in 1967. I wonder who was the first of the big three to introduce bead locks?
I would be surprised if the aftermarket did not follow suite as mag wheels and radial tires were a big selling point.
I have some later 15 x 4 Cragar SS rims and they have them but they are not pronounced like some other wheels that I have seen.
