Default MT Prototype Headers for a 67 Buick GS 400

I have a set of headers for a 67 Buick GS 400. They have a build date 1-25-67 and inspection initials with the MT logo and part number 39892400. Does anyone know anything more about these. They have never been used. The flanges are tacked form the outside and welds ground smooth on the inside. I have photos. Thanks.

Larry,

Very cool. I assume you have also posted this on www.V8Buick.com

Hello, no I haven't been on the site before. Just got a ton of old GS stuff might have to visit it. The headers are the Super Scavenger Headers. They were made in 67 by MT and given to the Buick GS club to raffle off as a fund raiser. I guess they have been resold a couple times but never used. They have a Beware MT logo on the collectors thats pretty cool made of paper that would burn off when used. Thanks, Larry. 520-349-2337
