1969 Camaro door latches
I have a groove in the LH door latch where the striker hit. Works good other than that. Has anybody tried to repair one? Not interested in using a repop. Thank you, Joe

Many, if not most, of those striker surfaces are gouged, Joe. I never have heard of repairing one. I would just look around for a nicer used one or NOS. The latch in the door was used by many models. You just need to compare with yours. I would stay with just 1st Camaro/Firebird, maybe Nova as you know they will work. If I find a nice one in my junk, I’ll send you a pic then send it your way, if you approve?

Thank you Bentley. It fits 1969 Camaro & 1969/1970 Nova if it's a 2 door. OE part number was 8720402...Joe
